BLUESTONE STUD AGREEMENT

 

THIS STUD AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) dated _______, 20_____ (the “Effective Date”) is made between BLUESTONE KENNEL'S LLC,, and __________________.

 

In consideration of the mutual obligations specified in this Agreement, the parties, intending to be legally bound hereby, agree to the following:

 

1. Health Guarantees:  

 

1. Dam’s owner must provide a copy of the veterinary certificate of current health guarantee which shall include required vaccines, Bordetella (kennel cough), heartworm prevention, and wormings UTD. 

2. Bitch must be Brucella negative via AGID test performed by a veterinarian DVM certificate. Lab results must be provided prior to breeding/mating. (When run tests should be conducted 3-4 weeks prior to onset of estrus as testing is more accurate near or during estrus.)

 

2. Bitch Owner Agrees To:

 

a. Females should arrive at our kennel at a receptive stage of the heat cycle. We highly recommend progesterone testing for optimal breeding timing. Females usually breed on the 10th, 15th day of the heat cycle. 

b. Notify stud dog owner/agent in writing which can include via email, text message, or private message on social media no later than 70 days after breeding if no pregnancy results from mating. Failure to do so will result in no return service being provided.  

c. Pay an additional stud service fee if the bitch owner wants more than two times of mating. 

d. Pay additional fee for boarding if the bitch was left more than two nights in the stud owners facility. 

 

The stud owner is not liable to any death, sickness, or accident that may occur to the bitch. 

 

3. Stud Owner Agrees To:

 

a. Bitch will be housed at the BlueStone Kennel's LLC facility, will be kept clean, and fed twice daily (food to be brought by DAM’s owner) with fresh water provided. 

b. Bitch kept properly confined following the breeding to ensure no other dog could mate the DAM before or after the agreed upon breeding during this service.

 

 

4. Consideration / Compensation:

 

(a) BlueStone Kennel's LLC pitbull's offer stud services to approved bitch’s only. Approved bitch;s must have good temperaments. BlueStone Kennel's LLC will not service a bitch that shows shyness, aggressive behavior, or is not approachable. If we approve your bitch you must provide us with at least a 3 generation certificate of registered pedigree. 

 

(b) In exchange for the full, prompt, and satisfactory performance of all Services to be rendered to Company (as determined by the Company), the DAM owner shall provide BlueStone Kennel's LLC, a full and complete compensation the sum of $_______ to be paid prior to breeding. There is a $_____ Lock-In fee that must be paid prior to reserve your breeding spot. This must be paid in certified funds which may include a cashier’s check, money order, or paypal. Stud fee AND Lock-In fee are non-refundable. 

 

5. Nondisclosure:

 

(a) Freelancer understands that, in connection with its engagement with Company, it may receive, produce, or otherwise be exposed to Company’s trade secrets, business, proprietary and/or technical information, including, without limitation, information concerning customer lists, customer support strategies, employees, research and development, financial information (including sales, costs, profits, and pricing methods), manufacturing, marketing, proprietary software, hardware, firmware, and related documentation, inventions (whether patentable or not), know-how, show-how, and other information considered to be confidential by Company, and all derivatives, improvements and enhancements to any of the above (including those derivatives, improvements and enhancements that were created or developed by Freelancer under this Agreement), in addition to all information Company receives from others under an obligation of confidentiality (individually and collectively “Confidential Information”).  

 

6. Termination:  

 

This Agreement shall be effective on the date hereof and shall continue until terminated by either party upon 14 business days written notice.  

 

 Other Considerations

 

One puppy born alive or dead constitutes a litter. No return service will be provided to the same bitch at her next heat or within one year. 

 

If the bitch has a miscarriage, no return service will be provided to the same bitch at her next heat or within one year. 

 

If bitch fails to conceive on return service, the contract is terminated. 

 

I have read and understand the above contract and agree to fully comply with this contract. 

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Stud Contract Agreement.
